Narrative:A hijacker told flight attendant that he had a plastic bomb in his pocket and demanded to be flown to Mexico City, Mexico. He finally agreed to land to refuel at Tijuana, Mexico, where he deplaned and was apprehended by Mexican authorities. He did not have any explosives.
He claimed he had to leave the country because someone was trying to kill him.
