Narrative:
The Cessna Caravan floatplane suffered a landing accident at Chance Bay near Whitsunday Island, Queensland, Australia.
Six passengers sustained minor injuries.
Preliminary investigations by police suggest that the aircraft struck rough water on landing. The plane bounced heavily, coming to a stop on a tree covered hillside near the beach.
