Narrative:The aircraft took off from the airstrip at Fazenda Cajú, Leme, SP, around 21:10 UTC, in order to perform an application of agricultural fertilizer, with a pilot on board.
After takeoff, according to the pilot's report, the aircraft presented a sudden engine failure. The aircraft made an emergency landing in the cultivation area, on the runway extension. The aircraft had substantial damage and the pilot was unharmed.
The investigation revealed that a loose nut on the capillary tube of cylinder 1, next to the distributor, caused a
fuel leak.
