Narrative:A Van's RV-6A (c/n PFA 181A-13602) crashed following a midair collision with G-CEZR DA40 near Shoreham Airport. The DA40 lost it's prop and damaged a wing, but landed safely.
The pilot of the RV-6 was killed. He was later named as Alan Weals, aged 63, a recently retired former British Airways pilot
