Narrative:
A Robinson R22 Beta II lost power after takeoff and the pilot made a forced landing about 60 km NNE of Richmond Airport, Queensland. The helicopter rolled onto its side and was destroyed in a post impact fire.

The pilot sustained minor inuries.
