The engine of a Cessna 150L failed during a training flight and forced the pilots to land at a farmfield in the Los Codillos area, near Monte Adentro village, Licey al Medio community, Santiago province, about 2 miles northwest of Cibao International Airport - STI/MDST. The aircraft flipped over and was completely destroyed after its nosewheel stuck in the soft soil.
The instructor and student pilot escaped unhurt.
