Narrative:Boeing B-52E Stratofortress s/n 56‑0633 of 11th BW, Altus AFB, Oklahoma. Crashed and destroyed on night of December 9/10, 1958. Routine night training mission. The aircraft was on a routine mission, aircraft made a GCA approach, requested climb to altitude for another jet penetration, problems with stabilizer trim during overshoot. Explosion 6 miles north of the base, all nine crew members were killed
