Trans from 9 Sqn to 311 Sqn and coded 'KX-E'. Missing 24/09/40.from an operation to Berlin. Aircraft made a forced landing at Leidschendam in Holland. The crew initially went on the run but were soon captured and became prisoners of war;

Sgt Karel Kunka (PoW)
Sgt Bellied, Charles - KIA
Sgt Kunka later took his own life because he feared his capture might endanger his family in Czechoslovakia.

The aircraft was recovered by the Germans and test flown.
