Narrative:
A Calm Air ATR 42-300, C-FAFS, suffered a runway excursion while landing at Naujaat, NU (CYUT).
During the landing on runway 34, directional control was lost and the aircraft experienced a runway side excursion on the east side of the runway. The aircraft came to rest approximately 44 meters from the runway edge. The captain suffered serious injuries. The aircraft sustained substantial damage.
