Narrative:The wing tips of two Qantas aircraft, an A380 (VH-OQI) and B747-400 (VH-OEI), came into contact at approximately 21:00 local time while being towed out of the hangar in Los Angeles, according to a statement from Qantas.
The A380 was being towed past the parked B747.
The A380 was due to operate flight QF94 to Melbourne, while the B747-400 was due to operate QF16 to Brisbane.
