Narrative:
Auster AOP.6 VF520, 664 Squadron/1969 (Reserve) AOP Flt RAF: Delivered 13/11/1946. Written off (destroyed) 1/8/1953: The aircraft took off from Skegness Airport, Skegness, Lincolnshire for an 'air experience flight' and 'demonstation flying' sortie. The Auster completed only part of the circuit, before entering a steep turn to the right.

The Auster then flicked to the left, and dived into the ground. The cause of the crash was attributed to the aircraft stalling, with not enough alttiude to initiate a recovery. Both crew were killed
