Narrative:
Auster J/1 Autocrat: First civil registered (C of R 9825/1; C of A 7377) on 1/2/1946 as G-AGXX to Taylorcraft Aeroplanes (England) Ltd., Britannia Works, Thurmaston, Leicestershire. (Usual base: Rearsby Aerodrome, Leicestershire). Registration cancelled/lapsed 17/6/1946 upon sale

Sold on and re-registered 17/6/1946 (same day!) with C of R 9825/2 to William Henry Whitbread, Godalming, Surrey. Registration cancelled/lapsed 4/7/1946 upon sale. Re-registered (C of R 9825/3) on 4/7/1946 (same day again) to Whitbread & Co Ltd., Chiswell Street, London EC1. As the previous registered owner was a director of Whitbread & Co Ltd (a well-known Brewery and pub-owning company), it could be presumed with the re-registration was largely nominal, tranferring ownership from Mr. Whitbread (a person) to Whitbread & Co (a company). Registration cancelled/lapsed upon sale 16/9/1947.

Re-registered (C of R 9825/3) on 9/10/1947 to Marshalls Flying School Ltd., Cambridge Airport, Teversham, Cambridgeshire.

Written off (damaged beyond repair) when crashed on landing at Cambridge Airport, Teversham, Cambridgeshire on 16/12/1951. Registration G-AGXX cancelled by the Secretary of State, Air Ministry on 6/2/1952 as "result of accident"
