Narrative:
De Havilland Venom FB.Mk.1, WE285, 11 Squadron, RAF. Built by DH Chester, and delivered 14/10/53. RAF Service was with 11 Squadron (only). Written off (damaged beyond repair) 17/2/54 when bellylanded in error in bad visibility and adverse weather conditions at RAF Tangmere, Chichester, West Sussex. No fatalities or injuries reported.

NOTE: Crash date as 17/2/54, and NOT as per some sources 17/2/56.
