Narrative:
de Havilland Canada DHC-1 Chipmunk T.10, WK510, 5 BFTS (Basic Flying Training School): delivered 11/1/1952. Written off (damaged beyond repair) 23/10/1952. While the pilot was making a practice forced landing at Broombriggs Farm, four miles South West of Loughborough, Leicestershire, the aircraft took a steep turn close to the ground, struck some trees, and dived into the ground. The pilot was killed
