Narrative:de Havilland Canada DHC-1 Chipmunk T.10, WK519, 5 BFTS (Basic Flying Training School): delivered 4/2/1952. Written off (damaged beyond repair) 29/7/1952 when hit by Chipmunk WK547 (also of 5 BFTS) while parked at RAF Desford, Leicestershire. Not repaired, Struck off Charge 29/7/1952 as Cat.5(c) and reduced to spares and produce. No aircrew casualties, as the aircraft was unoccupied at the time
